# How to Customize Discounts on Point Of Sale Window

This guide will show you how to customize your 4 discount keys located at the top of
Point Of Sale Screen and adjust the discount values to your liking or current sales
event.
Click on Tools on Point Of Sale Screen

Select POS Options

Down on the bottom of the window that opens up

click into the discount fields and change the values to your liking. All values
assume percentages off. If you would like to give a dollar discount, please type in
the $ symbol before the amount value. Press OK when finished.

Close the Point of Sale Sceen

Re-open the point of Sale screen and new discount values will be displayed in their
corresponding fields
