If you notice that your Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 is having severe performance issues and is overall feeling laggy and slow to respond and you use Epson Drivers for Kitchen or Receipt Printers, these are the steps to fix the issue. Those issues seemed to happen even if you did not use the packaged driver installation and only installed using .inf files.
Following steps will help you fix the issue:
1. Press Windows + R key and type services.msc and hit Enter.
2. Look for Epson APD Log Service and Epson Device Control Log and make sure those services are stopped and are not automatically restarted.
