WinSale has partnered with Max Retail, an online marketplace that sells past-season and clearance inventory across partner channels reaching over 400 million online shoppers. The integration lets WinSale retailers move aged stock and free up floorspace and cash ahead of fall shipments — without the manual upload work that usually comes with selling online.
For shoe and safetywear retailers, slow-moving clearance inventory ties up both shelf space and capital. Selling it online traditionally means exporting reports, building listings, writing descriptions, and keeping stock counts in sync across two systems. The WinSale and Max Retail partnership removes that friction by connecting directly to your point of sale.
How it works with WinSale
Once the integration is set up, the workflow runs on its own. There are four things retailers need to know:
- The integration connects directly to your WinSale POS.
- Max Retail creates and enhances your listings for you, including images and descriptions.
- You receive orders and get paid upon shipping.
- All sales are final, and your store name is never exposed to the buyer.
Inventory never leaves your store until it sells. And if an item sells in store first, it is automatically removed from Max Retail — so you are never at risk of selling the same unit twice.
Setting it up is simple
We handle the technical side. To get started, a retailer only needs to:
- Sign up through the Max Retail partnership link.
- Create a department, class, or season defined as CLEARANCE or MAXRETAIL.
- Start assigning clearance inventory to that department, class, or season.
- Email us when it is done.
We set it up once. As long as you stay active on both WinSale and Max Retail, you will never have to manually upload inventory again.
